Still in pain after treatment elsewhere?
You may have seen a physiotherapist, your GP or a specialist. You did the exercises and gave it time, and the complaint is still there. Or you have been advised to have surgery and would like an independent view before you decide.
A second opinion at EBP Studio is an extended first appointment for that situation. You can book it for physiotherapy, manual therapy or pelvic physiotherapy. You do not need a referral from your GP.

Your first appointment
You see one therapist for a maximum of 120 minutes. We go through your history and the treatment you have had so far. Then we examine you and explain what we find, with time for your questions.
Duration and price
A second opinion takes a maximum of 120 minutes and costs €260,00. With ultrasound it costs €310,00 in total.
Reimbursement
If your insurance covers physiotherapy, part of the first 60 minutes may be reimbursed. The second 60 minutes are private, you pay for them yourself at the same rate.

What does ultrasound add to a second opinion?
Sometimes an ultrasound scan adds useful information, for example about a tendon or a muscle. A second opinion with ultrasound is always with Julian, who does all our scans. It takes a maximum of 120 minutes.
