What can I expect from personal training at EBP Studio Amsterdam?
We encourage people to improve their quality of life. You can understand this in the broadest sense of the word move. Some people need more coaching and motivation, while others want to learn more about moving the body itself. In personal training, we start from the four main movements: pushing and pulling for the upper body and squatting and “hanging” (hinges) for the lower body. Of course, there are many more movements involved in training, but it basically comes down to these four.
What does my first personal training appointment consist of?
First of all, we would like to invite you for an introduction. You don't need sportswear here yet. We'll be happy to show you our studio and see together how we can best help you achieve your goals. Once this is clear, we will make an intake appointment where we will jointly carry out various tests and measurements that apply to your goal (s) and training.
Since we are a studio for manual therapy, physiotherapy, pelvic physiotherapy and personal training, we can also provide you with very good guidance with complaints. In fact, it is highly recommended to stay active in case of complaints. Some of our personal trainers are also physiotherapists, manual therapists and/or pelvic physiotherapists, so they can let you continue training safely in case of complaints. In fact, in consultation with your treating therapist, the personal training can also contribute to your recovery!
