No, health insurance doesn't cover personal training. In some cases you can claim it as a business expense, for example if you're self-employed, or your employer may contribute to the cost.
If you can't make it, you can cancel (or reschedule) for free up to 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours, we'll charge you for the reserved time. Your insurer won't reimburse these costs.
Yes. We meet all Dutch legal and professional quality standards. The practice and our therapists are fully registered in the relevant quality and professional registers (BIG is the Dutch national register for healthcare professionals), and we work to current guidelines and professional standards.

For your first manual therapy appointment we reserve 60 minutes. We start with a thorough conversation about your complaint(s) and what you need. If it's useful, a physical examination follows. We take the time it needs.
Once we have a clear picture, we start treatment in the same appointment or the next one.
For the ultrasound appointment we reserve 90 minutes. This covers a physiotherapy intake (see above), the ultrasound itself and a detailed report with the relevant images and our physiotherapy diagnosis. You'll get the report as a PDF within a week.
During the scan, we put a little gel on your skin and move the probe over the area. Often you can watch on the screen, so you see what we see.
Before you start personal training, we invite you for an introductory meeting. No need to bring sports clothes. We'll show you around and talk about how we can best help you reach your goals.
Once that's clear, we book an intake where we do tests and measurements that fit your goal(s) and training.

No. You don't need a referral for physiotherapy, pelvic physiotherapy (pelvis and pelvic floor), manual therapy or personal training.
You do need one to get a "chronic indication" reimbursed (a long-term condition on the official Dutch list, covered by basic insurance), for example rehabilitation after surgery, or basic-insurance cover for urinary incontinence.
Our therapists are highly qualified to make an accurate diagnosis. If anything's unclear, your physiotherapist will refer you to your GP or a specialist in our network.
We recommend letting your GP know you're being treated by one of our therapists.
