Manual Therapy

What training did the manual therapists take at EBP Studio?

Our manual therapists have a Master of Science degree in manual therapy.

As a result, they are specialists in providing customized solutions in the diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. Your personal goals are key here.

Manual therapy uses, among other things, specific mobilizations and manipulations (“cracking” in the vernacular) to optimize joint mobility. Manual therapy, however, is broader than manipulation alone. If these are already implemented, they are only a means of getting moving better, never an end in themselves.

In order to achieve optimal results, constructive training is important. Accompanied as well as at home. This increases the resilience so that you can carry out your activities unhindered again.

What does my first manual therapy appointment consist of?

We start the appointment with a thorough intake interview to identify your complaint (s) and need (s). Together with your manual therapist, you will discuss whether manual therapy is indeed appropriate for your complaint (s). This is followed by a physical examination. We take the time that is necessary. Once the above has been thoroughly identified, we will start treatment that same or the next appointment.

How long will my first manual therapy appointment take?

The first appointment takes a maximum of 60 minutes.
